As we approach the date of our Third Annual Tiny Homes – Big Futures Fundraiser, we thought we would introduce some of the many volunteers who share their skills and talents with Valiant Seed. One of the things we do is provide hats and scarves to veterans who are in need. As winter approaches, people have been sending us knitted and crocheted hats and scarves to hand out.
JoAnn and Kimberly, a mother-daughter team from North Dakota, have sent dozens of beautiful hat and scarf sets to us. Kimberly, the daughter, prefers to crochet. Her mom, JoAnn, is a knitter. Together they have provided many vets with warmth and comfort, and we sincerely appreciate the time and talent they have contributed to Valiant Seed.
Our fundraiser is November 11, 2017, in Plainfield, Indiana. Southern Bridges is playing, there is a silent auction, and there’s much more happening. We would love it if you could join us – you can get tickets here.Tags: donate, fundraiser, volunteers
