Southern Bridges has been supportive of Valiant Seed from its very beginning. John and co-founder Teresa grew up together — they have known each other since second grade!
John spent years in the Marine Corps and was deployed during Operation Desert Storm, and a couple of the band members are also veterans.
The band’s patriotism and desire to do right by those who have served our country have made them one of our biggest supporters, and we are thrilled that they’re back again this year for the 3rd Annual Tiny Homes – Big Futures fundraiser at the Eagles in Plainfield.
In a conversation with John earlier this week, he talked about his own service and deployment, and said it gave him a deeper understanding of the sacrifices ordinary people make in serving their country.
The band will be there in support of Valiant Seed because, as co-founder Teresa says, “No one who defended our streets should have to sleep on them.”
