In the last couple of weeks I have had the opportunity to make donations of almost 30 hat and scarf sets to Minnesota veterans’ organizations, the VA Medical Center in Minneapolis, and the Olmsted County Veterans Service Office. Pictured is me with Kathy in the Community Resource Service office and me with JoAnn and Nathan, one of the VSOs in Olmsted County, Minnesota.
These beautiful knitted and crocheted sets were donated by JoAnn and Kimberly, a mother-daughter team from the Fargo, ND area who give of their time and talent so that vets stay warm. they are working on more that will be donated to the VA in Fargo, as well. Each set has a tag attached with some information about Valiant Seed, to help us get the word out about the work we do and our goals for the future.
We sincerely appreciate these gifts and are most grateful for the support of this big dream. Thanks JoAnn and Kimberly! I will be sending out tags to you soon, so you can attach them to your donations in Fargo. Thanks to you a bunch of veterans will keep warm this winter, and the work of Valiant Seed will be spread to more people.
