We at Valiant Seed are so grateful to everyone who has helped us get to this point. Your donations, your encouragement, your time; to the many volunteers who put in hours of work planning fundraisers and doing all of the work it took to get this little nonprofit up and running, to the companies for their support, and the many people we have met along the way who have been a joy to work with and have become friends.
All of the work it has taken to build these 2 tiny homes can be replicated — that has been our goal all along. We want to help other people and communities see that this model can work and that tiny homes can be a part of the solution of homelessness all over the country.
The work of Valiant Seed is a work of heart. And all of our partners, all of our volunteers, have helped to create homes for people who have given part of their lives to service to our nation. The veterans who will live in these homes will be able to move forward in their lives and have a safe, beautiful space to call their own.
This is volunteer Jennifer; a personal thank you to all of you who have helped Teresa (who is my colleague, but was one of my first friends in the Army) turn this dream into a Technicolor reality. What an amazing thing it has been to see the virtual village Teresa created to get this done, and the real-life Veterans Village you all created together.
(And congratulations, sister. You are one of a kind and I am so proud of you!)Tags: volunteers
